Welcome
The Cottage is a special home-stay bed and breakfast set on a 48 acre 1790’s farm, located at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We are in the heart of Northern Virginia horse, wine and brewery country. Just 2 miles south of the Village of Hillsboro, VA and 3 miles north of the Village of Round Hill, VA, we are only 1 hour from Washington, D.C., 30 minutes from Dulles Airport, 30 minutes from route 81, and 7 miles from downtown Purcellville, VA.
The Farm Experience
Dunthorpe Farm is more than just a cottage B & B. It is the restored farm and home of Kelly and Philip Foltman, Dr. Foltman’s veterinary practice, several personal horses, two cats and two dogs. They also have pasture raised pigs.

Relax
You will be treated to spectacular western views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Open a window and fall asleep to the sounds of cattle grazing or the call of spring peepers. Enjoy the unfiltered night sky filled with stars and lightning bugs. Sit at the fire pit patio (an old corn silo pad) for an outdoor meal or glass of wine.
